In order to make use of the site you need to observe a few rules relating to the use of a minister's discount.

As one way of offering encouragement and support to those who need to buy books in the course of their work on behalf of the Church, the URC Bookshop offers discounts of 15% to a range of office holders on most (but not all) books. This discount is offered to those who are in the service of any church in membership of Churches Together in Britain and Ireland in one of the following capacities:

Recognised Ministers of Word and Sacrament, church related community workers, nationally accredited lay preachers and students in training for the ministry.
Students on nationally accredited courses directly related to the church including Training for Learning and Serving courses and all other courses sponsored by or recognised by the United Reformed Church.

Your discount will be automatically applied to your purchase if you indicate you qualify for one while filling out your details at the shop checkout.

Please note that all applications for goods at a discount will be checked against current lists to ensure that applicants are eligible.
